SAVANNAH Georgia (November 23, 2012) — If four Savannah innkeepers are successful to entice holiday travelers, there will be more pajama-packing tourists headed to Savannah in December 2012.
Green Palm Inn is one of four Savannah Inns sponsoring a merrier Christmas shopping idea in Savannah for the holidays — Savannah Pajama Shop Hop. “We hope there will be more laughter in Savannah while purchasing thoughtful gifts this year!” adds innkeeper Diane McCray.
“Christmas is a special time for lodging in the city’s famous historic inns and in the beautiful Landmark Savannah Historic District,” Diane clarifies. “Savannah is a friendly southern USA town, so it’s easy to become enveloped as one of the city’s own with so many ready hellos, welcoming nods, and how do you do’s? I and my fellow innkeepers are happy to champion a new, fun-loving invitation to come, explore, enjoy the hospitality in “The Hostess City of the South” and the unique gifts and experiences here.”
Amid holiday ornaments at One Fish Two Fish (Jones Street at Whitaker n the Savannah Design District) are beautiful pajamas. Perfect! Beautiful, modest pajamas are one key requirement to participate in “Pajama Shopping”.
The Who, What, When, Where and How to Participate in “Shopping in Pajamas”
The Savannah Pajama Shop Hop is the campaign introduced by a quartet of historic inn merry makers — Savannah Inns. “Each is independently owned, but we seem to get more done and extend our reach when working cooperatively,” adds Diane, who comes from the corporate world where teamwork is a common denominator to success.
After December 1, 2012, request a discount “Pajama Shop Hop” passport, which includes a list of 60 participating businesses from any of the Savannah Inns — Zeigler House Inn, Dresser Palmer House, Azalea Inn & Gardens, or Green Palm Inn. Or, email Info@SavannahInns.com to reach all four inns at once.
Then simply shop in modest pajamas at participating businesses, and you’ll receive a special thank you or a discount, determined personally by each participating business owner. That’s it. It is not required that you stay over at the Savannah Inns bed and breakfasts.
For those who do, you’ll discover that on-going, fun-loving ideas come free as we introduce guests to more novel ways to see and do Savannah. Want to learn more now?
