New Head Coach at University of Minnesota

Just learned from my recent guests out of Coon Rapids, MN that my very good friend Jerry Kill has been named head coach of the Golden Golphers at the Univeristy of Minnesota. Way to go Jerry!  Haven’t seen Jerry and his beautiful wife Rebecca for several years now. Jerry was head coach at Saginaw Valley State, Saginaw, MI for several years. Our families became good friends during his coaching days there and I’ve always watched to see where they would go from that Michigan stint. Jerry is a great motivational speaker!  The players and fans alike love him for all of his idiosyncrasies which endear him to everyone. Respect, I think, is the word almost all of his players use to describe Jerry. He respects the boys and they respect him right back. Good for you Jerry! We’ll be watching you and the team this coming year, especially against Uof M.
