Art and Soul – This last week-end art was everywhere in Savanah. The artists and their shops were open late Friday in City Market for all of Savannah’s visitor’s. A real chance to meet the artist and and intermingle with folks from all walks of life. Saturday another treat was unveiled. Palette to Palate Gallery Hop -Several art galaries through out the Historic Distict enticed buyers, treasure hunters and connoisseurs alike to partake of their art, hor’s d’eouvres music and wine for an enchanted evening. On Sunday a great afternoon day of music. First a gospel brunch at the Jepson Center with access to fabulous exhibitions and live gospel performances. Then a command performance of Johnny Mercer tunes by Huxie Scott, Ben Tucker and Teddy Adams at the Four Points Sheraton hotel. The week-end could not have been better.
